Steps to take after a workplace injury

Seek medical attention

If the injury is serious or life-threatening, seek emergency medical attention for the employee. Otherwise, direct the employee to a designated medical provider.

Share medical provider options

Give the injured employee the Letter to Injured Worker listing your designated medical providers. If they initially go to the ER, their designated provider will take over follow-up care.

After you report

Prompt follow-up

Once we receive the First Report of Injury, a dedicated claims representative will be assigned to your case, providing guidance and assistance at every step.

Personalized care

We’ll work collaboratively with you, your employee and their medical provider to facilitate a safe and timely return to work.
