Our three pillars
Employee safety and health
A key focus of our business is keeping our customers and their employees safe and healthy, so we’ve aligned our community giving with nonprofits that promote similar objectives. We also award safety grants to Colorado nonprofits proactively addressing workplace safety hazards for their employees.
Rehabilitative health services
Part of our job as a workers’ compensation insurer is supporting injured workers as they heal and recover. An important piece of our community giving is to support organizations that provide rehabilitative care to individuals recovering from physical injuries or living with ongoing disabilities.
Economic vitality and workforce development
Our commitment to helping our customers thrive extends beyond providing workers’ compensation coverage. We promote a strong business climate for Colorado as a member of more than 40 chambers of commerce and industry associations.
We also support nonprofits that are developing Colorado's talent pipeline in industries and regions facing worker shortages, with the greatest consideration given to organizations that support advanced skill development and are designed to create opportunities for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities as part of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
General Exclusions

- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or disability with respect to employment, volunteer participation or the provision of services
- Individual K-12 public and private schools
- Religious institutions (except hospitals and hospital foundations)
