When Trinity, a social worker in Fort Collins, injured her finger while assisting a participant at work, she never anticipated the depth of care and support she would receive. Her initial reaction was a mix of concern and frustration.

"It felt really good for me to know that I can continue to work on this...and still be able to come back if needed," she says.

Reflecting on her journey, Trinity encourages other injured workers to embrace the process. "Pay attention to your body," she advises. "Pay attention to your doctors. This is a partnership." 

She also emphasizes the importance of self-advocacy, urging workers to ask questions and seek clarification whenever needed.
